What is the Graphite heating?
Heating element with a structure similar to a single crystal made of polymide placed in a quartz glass tube and filled with an inert gas (argon). Graphite has high thermal conductivity, providing instant heat.
What is the material the unit is made of?
Steel. Treatment: Nickel chrome coating.
Is the grill pan material coating/ painting safe?
Yes. Heat resistant silicone coating is used which also prevents food from sticking.
How to use the grill pan for the first time?
When using it for the first time, bake the EMPTY unit at 550 °F for 3 minutes using the toaster. Please put the grill net in the grill pan before baking. It can be done at the same time as empty baking. Odor and smoke may be emitted, but this is not malfunction. If the temperature becomes high, the color of the grill pan may change, but it will return to normal when the temperature drops.
The unit turns on and off during cooking.
It is not a failure for the unit to turn on and off automatically because the thermostat works to prevent overheating inside the toaster.
Insufficient doneness while following the manual by setting timer and temperature.
The cooking manual provides guidance only, and the baking/cooking time varies depending on the thickness of the bread/food, the state of drying, the room temperature, the storage in the refrigeration, etc. Adjust grilling/backing/cooking/toasting time until you match your required doneness.
There is a gap between the main unit and the door.
When the unit is operating, the temperature rises and the door may be expanded. The gap is to ensure smooth openning.
